ADA Compliance

The ADA Compliance Coordinator's Office

Welcome to the ADA Compliance Coordinator's website

An employee with a disability who seeks an accommodation in order to perform the essential functions of the job may initiate the accommodation process by making a verbal or written request to any one of the following: their immediate supervisor or the Workplace Accommodations Coordinator.
The Workplace Accommodations Coordinator is available to meet with any employee with a disability who plans to make a request for accommodations in order to assist the employee to explore accommodation options.

Please see the above links to access various resources across our campus.

The Digital Accessibility Website provides instructions and resources for Texas State web developers and content creators to ensure and promote the creation of accessible materials. Here you can learn how to make your professional documents accessible.

The Occupational Safety Ergonomics program assists Texas State employees who may require an ergonomic assessment of their workspace. Please contact EHSRM via the request form. If you require workplace accommodations, please contact ADACoordinator@txstate.edu.

The ADA/504 Steering Committee serves as a clearinghouse for disability issues and coordinates the university's efforts to ensure that Texas State's policies, programs, and services comply with ADA / ADAA (2008).
